Recipient in 2003   Dr. Thomas Bent
  Dr. Thomas Bent was selected by the students of the UCI School of Medicine for the AOA Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award for his outstanding clinical and procedural teaching skills, his sensitivity in honoring different learning styles of students, and his availability and willingness to provide both career and personal counseling whenever needed. Dr. Bent graduated from the UCI Family Medicine residency program in 1984, and joined the UCI Department of Family Medicine full-time faculty 1996-2002, serving as the residency director for three years. He served as the medical director of Camino Health Centers in San Juan Capistrano (1992-96), the UCI Family Health Center in Santa Ana (1996-2002), and the Laguna Beach Community Clinic (2002 to present). He has spent 15 years mentoring UCI medical students in addition to his full time career, and continues to mentor UCI medical students at his community clinic in Laguna. Dr. Bent's dedication to students was recognized in 1991 when he received the "Preceptor of the Year" award, in 1997 when he received the "Helping Hand" award, and in 2002 when he received the prestigious Lauds & Laurels Award.
 
Recipient in 2001 Dr. Mark Rosen
 
  Dr. Mark Rosen was selected by the students of the UCI School of Medicine for the AOA Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award for his outstanding dedication to clinical teaching. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in Intensive Care Medicine at UCI Medical Center since 1998, following faculty positions at the Medical Intensive Care Unit Memorial Medical Center of Long Beach and the UCLA Medical Center Department of Emergency Medicine. He received the Clinical Instructor of the Year Award from Memorial Medical Center of Long Beach Department of Family Practice in 1999 and in 2002. He was also nominated for the Association of American Medical Colleges' National Award for Humanism in 1999 and the UCI Medical Center's Teacher of the Year Award in 1999.
