Recovery from Disuse in Skeletal Muscle: Changes in the Myosin Heavy Chain Expression

We looked at the changes in the myosin heavy chain expression between disuse muscle to muscle underwent isometric and isotonic contraction. We hope to use the information to better rehabilitate and maximize muscle function in patients and astronauts who have their muscle in prolonged disuse states.
