AΩA’s scarf highlights the society’s insignia, based on the shape of the manubrium sterni. The center medallion features the Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, for which AΩA’s journal is named. The borders are stylized DNA strands.
