The Award

Recipients receive a framed certificate from Alpha Omega Alpha, an engraved AΩA key ring and their name will be added to a plaque that hangs in the Dean’s office in the school where they volunteer.

Recipients of the award are eligible to receive the Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award only once.

Nominees need not be members of AΩA, however, if they are a member they must have active status.

Nominations for the Volunteer Clinical Faculty Award may be made by all clinical students, with the recipient chosen by student members of the AΩA Chapter. The AΩA Councilor at each school is responsible for the nomination process. Each Chapter is allowed to nominate one VCF per year.

Nominations must be submitted online through the Online Submission link below.

Please allow four to five weeks lead time if you would like the certificate for an event.
