Membership in Alpha Omega Alpha is an honor that recognizes both your scholarly achievements and the professional qualities that make an outstanding physician, including leadership, service, and professionalism. Your dues ensure that AΩA can continue to recognize and support these exemplary qualities in physicians and medical students throughout the country.
Your dues provide more than a half million dollars per year to support AΩA Programs and Awards including: Distinguished Teacher awards, Medical Student Research projects, Medical Student Service Leadership projects; Professionalism awards; Visiting Professorships; Clinical Faculty awards; and Literature awards. AΩA continues to support and advocate for academic achievement, leadership, professionalism, teaching, research, and service.
